I have a lot of goals but one of them really is just getting the truth out there. As horrifying as it sometimes is to behold, I am hoping it will bring some purity into this painfully deceptive realm. THANK YOU.
When I was a celebrity photographer, I worked with publicists and I learned a lot about them. Sometimes they would knock on my door freaking out midnight on a Friday because I hadn’t uploaded a crowd shot for a magazine or something like that. That midnight encounter reminds me of when Jill Zarin kept aggravating me because I had uploaded more pictures of Bethenny Frankel than her regarding her own party! I needed to change that ASAP.
Bethenny Frankel hired me/my agency to photograph her at Jill Zarin’s party and I suspect she left Zarin in the dark about it.
My point is this crowd freaks out a lot and I know what I’m doing isn’t easy for them. The truth benefits all and we’re all headed DOWN without it. I’m doing this for that crowd too. I can see they have gotten even more abuse than the rest of us - even if I am viewed as “the enemy”.
I saw a literal army amount of publicists being employed to keep people dumb and slack jawed, mentally poisoned and in debt with all this celebrity garbage. I couldn’t help them anymore (by remaining silent). Then I wondered, what if 1 publicist worked for what they actually believe in.
