When I was at SUNY Stony Brook, I just knew I was going to have to run around taking advantage of the talent around me before “it happened” like it always did and I’d have to leave in a cloud of infamy.
Somehow I got a beautiful woman to compose a score for Longwood - our play about Napoleon’s EXILE.
I asked her and she just delivered it like magic. She wouldn’t talk to me that much and seemed beleaguered. She’s telling me the games around me were much more than I think.
I did not do enough to promote her. I did not pay her anything. She was perfect and wonderful.
I must thank her profusely now and say I am grateful that she graced Longwood with such sensitive accompaniment.
