One of my first day-in-day-out warders was a real big shot and he is the one that fueled my massive interest in the topic of abuse and narcissism. He could hardly teach a class at the college without the New York Times celebrating him for it.
I have been and continue to be utterly “invisible” to that paper. An old colleague from the paper in the East Hampton ended up at The New York Times. When this project started catching on, he was excited about it and told me he was expecting his paper to cover it. I thought that he’s going to be waiting quite a while for that to ever happen.
They can continue to not cover “all the news that’s fit to print” but they can’t do it without permanently losing their credibility.
