What does this mean?

The song Toledo cut to highlight a specific passage showed up on Koand’s YouTube today. We hear that there is some major work coming involving Burt Bacharach. The name of the album from which this is taken - “Painted From Memory” may also be worth noting.

This may have something to do with the song list that popped into my head last night which is posted on this blog now.

I know when this album - Painted From Memory - came out I listened to it a great deal and it did cause me a fair amount of anguish that I could never talk to this person no matter how hard I tried. I DID TRY THEN. Why such high walls that others could saunter right through as if the wind is at their back? Having the game rigged against a person the way it has been rigged against me has had a tremendous influence on my outlook. (I used to try so hard to please “them”. There was no use. I’m not one of them.)

Watching that others POWERFULLY have the game rigged in their favor has not been all that fun either. Who gets to have the game rigged in their favor? Is it very obvious yet?

I was offered a “deal with the devil” - like so many others that took them - and what would have happened if I had taken it? They wanted me to help prop up the fake story of that Trump character, the enemy within continually works so very hard to push on us. Would they have gotten their civil and world wars by now if I had joined them? Think about it.

Why are we as individuals and groups being separated and tricked en masse? Who is separating us and why? Are there wealthy social engineers deliberately working to destroy our lives? If so then why? Can we take our lives back from them?

Koand & Burt Bacharach - Toledo

The passage highlighted is here:

But it's no use saying that I love you
And how that girl really didn't mean a thing to me
For if anyone should look into your eyes
It's not forgiveness that they're gonna see

You hear her voice
["How could you do that?"]
You hear her voice
["How could you do that?"]

. . .

The last line of the song is “we don’t have Paris and we don’t Rome”. Those were the 2 chief cities under Napoleon’s empire.

In this version, Koand adds New York and Amsterdam to the cities that “we don’t have”. Hortense Bonaparte was Queen Of Holland and I live in New York (state).

What is going on?

Toledo lyrics

Elvis Costello

All through the night you telephoned
I saw the light blinking red
Beside the cradle
But you don't know how far I've gone
Now I must live with the lie
That I made

But if I call
I know I won't have to say it
You'll hear my voice
Something is bound to betray it

But do people living in Toledo
Know that their name hasn't travelled very well?
And does anybody in Ohio
Dream of that Spanish citadel?

But it's no use saying that I love you
And how that girl really didn't mean a thing to me
For if anyone should look into your eyes
It's not forgiveness that they're gonna see

You hear her voice
["How could you do that?"]
You hear her voice
["How could you do that?"]

So I walked outside in the bright
Sunshine and lovers pass by
Smiling and joking
But they don't know the fool I was
Why should they care what was lost
What was broken?

But if I call
I know I won't have to say it
You'll hear my voice
Something is bound to betray it

But do people living in Toledo
Know that their name hasn't travelled very well?
And does anybody in Ohio
Dream of that Spanish citadel?

But it's no use saying that I love you
And how that girl really didn't mean a thing to me
For if anyone should look into your eyes
It's not forgiveness that they're gonna see

But do people living in Toledo
Know that their name hasn't travelled very well?
And does anybody in Ohio
Dream of that Spanish citadel?

But we still have Florence, Alabama
We don't have Paris and we don't have Rome
