Mercury stations and turns direct early today after retrograde motion since May 10th. Over the coming weeks, recent problems with communications and decision-making should start to improve. The answers we’ve waited for can arrive. Plans or projects that have stalled might now resume.
However, energies that are hard to make sense of can flood us during today’s shift. Thus, we might avoid critical decision-making for the time being. It’s a better day to take in than to take action. It’s also a good idea not to rush conversations and observations.
The Moon continues its transit of Cancer until 2:39 PM EDT, when it moves into Leo. While the Leo Moon is confident and optimistic, the Sun’s minor square to Pluto this evening can stimulate or aggravate fears and any feelings we may have of being powerless or overlooked. Buried emotions and motives can surface now. A tendency to want to control our lives through some form of manipulation is persistent with this aspect. However, it’s best to rise above this.
The void Moon occurs from 11:16 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Pluto), until the Moon enters Leo at 2:39 PM EDT.
Mercury now turns direct at 26° Taurus 05′.
Mercury is retrograde from May 10, 2022, at 4° Gemini 52′, until June 3, 2022, at 26° Taurus 05′. While Mercucry began its retrograde in the sign of Gemini, it returned to Taurus on May 22nd.
April 26, 2022, Mercury enters the Retrograde Zone at 26° Taurus 05′
May 10, 2022, Mercury stations and turns retrograde at 4° Gemini 52’Rx
June 3, 2022, Mercury stations and turns direct at 26° Taurus 05′
June 18, 2022, Mercury leaves the Retrograde Zone at 4° Gemini 52′
The year 2022’s second retrograde Mercury cycle occurs from May 10th to June 3rd. Mercury’s shadow period begins on April 26th and ends on June 18th. Note that the shadow period begins before Mercury turns retrograde–when Mercury first passes over the degree that Mercury later returns to in retrograde motion. The shadow period ends when Mercury again passes over the degree at which it first turned retrograde. The shadow period is different than Mercury’s storm period in astrology, which refers to the period when Mercury is moving especially slowly.
Note that Mercury’s post-retrograde shadow is generally better for new long-term endeavors than the pre-retrogrades shadow. For new enterprises in the pre-retrograde shadow, the venture’s secondary progressed Mercury will turn direction (retrograde) in the coming years, which may not be ideal.
Also note that things are most wonky on and around the days of the stations whether Mercury is turning retrograde OR direct (the start and end dates of the retrograde cycle) as the shifts occur, after which we grow more accustomed to the energy.
Mercury is retrograde approximately three times a year for approximately three weeks each time. As such, retrograde Mercury is a fairly common occurrence (Mercury is retrograde approximately 18% of the time).
As the planet of communication, Mercury retrograde tends to breed a certain level of confusion. Mercury rules our “lower” mind–how we perceive and interpret information that we receive from our environment, and how we relay that information to others. Mercury has rulership over such things as speaking, negotiating, buying and selling, listening, formal contracts, documents, travel, the mail and shipping, and so forth. All of these areas of life are affected when Mercury is functioning in a sluggish state. Decision-making is challenged during Mercury retrograde.
Needless to say, it is not advised to sign contracts, engage in important decision-making, or launch a new business. Delays and challenges are more probable with Mercury retrograde. It’s a time when being careless with money, our personal information, or paperwork can be costly.
While Mercury is retrograde, we may be rethinking a previous opinion or idea. Looking to the signs and houses it transits can give clues as to what we may be reconsidering. In Gemini and Taurus this time, we’re reviewing our projects, personal interests, communication systems, studies, finances, and systems of comfort and security.
Now that Mercury is direct, slowly but surely, information unclogs, and we can move on. Ideally, while Mercury was retrograde, we had the chance to catch up, refine details, and change our minds if needed.

I’m trying to understand what I can of Koand’s natal chart (I don’t have a verified birth time so there is no info about a houses). The illustration above shows his T square. Let’s look at 1 aspect of this T Square - specifically the square between Chiron retrograde and Neptune-Venus.
What is Chiron? The following is shared from here.
Chiron is a dwarf planet/asteroid that takes about 50 years or so the move through the zodiac, and even though it is classified as a “Minor planet,” it is very impactful.
The archetype of Chiron is known as the wounded healer.
There seem to be many renditions of this legend, but this is the way the story of Chiron goes. He was known as the wounded healer; in Greek mythology, he was a centaur with remarkable healing abilities. He was injured by a poison arrow and survived it because of his immortality. However, he was unable to heal from it. Even though Chiron was a world-class healer, he could not regenerate his own wound.
One day, the god Zeus had captured Prometheus for stealing fire from the gods and gifting it to humans. Prometheus was jailed then punished by Zeus for this discretion which caused Chiron to come to his aid. Chiron decided to sacrifice himself to save Prometheus and traded places with him. This act of altruism caused Zeus to change his perspective and free Chiron. Additionally, Zeus rewarded him by alleviating his suffering, changing him from an immortal being to what’s today known as the constellation Sagittarius.
This celestial body is the bridge between our last Social Planet (Saturn) to the first outer one (Uranus.) This celestial body spends a period inside Saturn’s zone and then travels over to the outer orbit of Uranus. Since this planetoid is in the same orbit as Saturn and Uranus, it has a Retrograde cycle of about 5 months due to how far out those celestial objects are from the Sun.
Currently, this dwarf planet is in Aries, so we will have to look at how we work through core issues with this Sign. It depends on how this Celestial body is aspecting your Natal Chart with any alignment. If you have placements in Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn between 4 to 20 degrees, you could have felt this Regressive Phase more than others.
Chiron Retrograde Reflective Questions
Retrogrades from Chiron are all about looking at how w we can work through past pain to function better and release our disappointment. Also, Chiron helps us heal ourselves so one day we can share that knowledge with others and show them how to cope while working through similar issues, which can be cathartic for us as well.

Mythological Chiron was a healer and mentor. He taught many of the Greek heroes and warriors the arts of defense, healing, astrology, among many other subjects, providing his promising students with a truly well-rounded education. During a Centaur uprising, Chiron was accidentally shot by one of Hercules’ poison arrows, but because Chiron was immortal, he could not die. He was a healer, and although he tried to heal his wounds, they would not heal. Sick of being sick, Chiron volunteered to take Prometheus' place (he was being eternally tortured for giving fire to mankind). Taking pity on his situation, Zeus released Chiron from Prometheus' burden and placed him in the sky in the constellation Sagittarius. This gives Chiron affiliation with the sign Sagittarius. And because he was a healer and teacher, Virgo is also associated with Chiron. Since true rulership for Chiron has not been determined, many astrologers do not use Chiron in their profiles and predictions, although more and more astrologers are noting and observing the position and transits of Chiron in an attempt to understand the role of this Centaur in our charts.

Brief Astronomical Facts about Venus
The planet Venus is the second from the Sun. It is roughly the size of Earth and is therefore often considered its twin. Viewed from our planet, Venus is the third brightest celestial body, surpassed only by the Sun and Moon.
Since its orbit is closer to the Sun than Earth's, it is only possible to observe it a few hours after dusk or a few hours before dawn, as with the planet Mercury. This led to it being popularly nicknamed “Morning Star” or “Afternoon Star”.
Venus planet takes 224.7 Earth days to make a turn around the Sun. But, as the rotation on itself is quite slow, it needs 243 Earth days to complete a turn on itself. What about Chiron square Venus?
Venus square Chiron:
Venus square Chiron can indicate physical, emotional, or sexual abuse in a past life or in childhood. With this aspect, you have been wounded in love. This can refer to either platonic or romantic love.
Now, you may have issues with low self-esteem and truly loving yourself. You’re probably generous with others, but you don’t always treat yourself well.
Venus square Chiron can mean that you give love to those who don’t necessarily deserve it (those who wound you) while you ignore those who should receive your love.
There’s potential with this Venus square Chiron aspect for you to treat those closest to you rather badly. You’re always chasing something, but when someone does give you love (and it does nothing to fix your wound) you stop noticing.
Most relationships are painful for you with Venus square Chiron. You just can’t get a grip on exactly what you’re looking for.
Be cautious of getting stuck in relationships with emotionally abusive partners. Sometimes, you subconsciously re-trigger the wound over and over, as though you’re reliving your trauma.
Alternatively, you might actually become abusive in relationships in order to get a sense of control. You mistakenly believe that this will fix the wound inside. However, it’s actually a sense of love you’re looking for, not control or power.
Ultimately, the Venus square Chiron wound can only be worked through by looking within. If you find yourself accepting negative treatment from others or treating those around you badly, this is a signal to look within. It is painful work, but it can be done and you will then experience more positive, nurturing relationships.
