Thursday, JUNE 2
The Moon spends the day in the sign of Cancer, and we seek stronger emotional connections. It can be helpful to find ways to center ourselves today. The Cancer Moon is sensitive, cautious, receptive, and protective. Home or family matters are in stronger focus than usual.
The Moon’s harmony with Uranus late morning helps us release and let go, boosting our capacity to embrace different ideas and methods. New techniques or options can emerge, and while the Cancer Moon is traditional and sentimental, we’re not against some minor changes or novel approaches.
Mercury is heading toward a station as it turns direct early tomorrow, suggesting some misunderstandings or delays as the shift is occurring.

The chart above is to show the placement of Black Moon Lilith, Capricorn and the Midheaven.
What is Black Moon Lilith? The following is shared from here:
The Astrology of Black Moon Lilith
Black Moon Lilith is not a planet or body, but rather a point, and should not be confused with the asteroid, Lilith. You can look up your Black Moon Lilith sign here, and to find its positions through the years, see the Black Moon Lilith ephemeris (along with White Moon Selena, Lilith’s counterpart).
In your natal chart, where Lilith is by sign, house, and aspect is where you may have felt ashamed, shamed, ridiculed, stifled, deeply misunderstood, or repressed in some manner. For whatever reason, you are wary of expressing those traits or parts of your personality freely and unapologetically, and you can feel quite uncomfortable with people who are doing so.
There can also be a binging and purging cycle involved with the traits of Lilith’s sign or house wherein we overdo or go all out, expressing these traits in extreme, then feel bad for doing so. This leads to a purging stage in which we reject or deprive ourselves of the traits. Eventually, the need for them is strong and we go to extremes again, perpetuating this self-destructive cycle.
For example, with Lilith in Aries, the discomfort may be about asserting oneself. When a person with Lilith in Aries feels the need to assert themselves, it feels so wrong and unnatural that they do it in a choppy, extreme, and messy way. Afterward, they feel ashamed for this display and vow to not do it again. The cycle repeats until they’ve worked on accepting that self-assertion is their right.
To work through this, we need to learn to accept these traits in ourselves and express them in ways that we’ve transformed or made to fit our lives without fear or guilt. We may have too-high expectations of ourselves in these areas, and we can convince ourselves we don’t care. It’s difficult to go there since fear and shame can be mixed in, but it’s also empowering.
. . .
Lilith in Capricorn has felt ashamed or otherwise wrong for their desire to excel, succeed, or reach for worldly goals and ambitions, and they may feel uncomfortable around people who seem materialistic, status-conscious, or particularly business-minded and practical or ambitious. It can be hard to connect with their own ambitions and need for others’ esteem, but going there and allowing yourself to feel these needs can be life-changing. On the other hand, if they feel uncomfortable with these things, they can go to extremes in these areas and then feel badly afterward. The path to empowerment is self-acceptance and moderation. This can also apply to Lilith in the tenth house.

What is the Midheaven?
The Midheaven (MC) is the cusp of the tenth house of the natal chart, and is one of the angles of a chart. Very often, we find this astrological point near the very top of the chart–it’s the most public point in our chart.
By extension, the Midheaven relates to our career or “life path” and can signify our social standing and reputation.
The Midheaven is one of the four main angles of the chart. The other three are the Imum Coeli (IC – directly opposite the Midheaven), the Ascendant (ASC), and the Descendant (DSC).
While the Midheaven is usually found at or near the top of the chart wheel, its direction is South.
The Midheaven’s Role in the Chart
The Midheaven represents:
our most visible achievements in the eyes of society,
our public “face” (as opposed to our more personal “face” at the Ascendant),
the material accomplishments we hold most dear, and
our overall sense of responsibility and standing in the world/society.
The Midheaven represents our higher aspirations, and it relates to our status or reputation, long-term goals, and sense of responsibility. This point can describe the parent who gave us our station or status or who guided and disciplined us the most along these lines. Furthermore, it can respresent an employer, government, or another authority figure in our lives.
The Midheaven sign can describe our profession or career, attitude towards achievement, and awareness of what others (or society) expect from us. Additionally, its planetary aspects give further clues. They can also point to the relative ease or challenge with which we might pursue and achieve our potential.
The Midheaven is the cusp of the tenth house in most (but not all) house systems. It’s often represented in its abbreviated form: MC, which stands for Medium Coeli (translating to middle of the sky).

The 10th house in astrology is symbolic of your life in the public’s eye and your career path. This area of the chart is symbolic of the authorities in your life; parents, bosses, and leaders. It shows you how your relationship with your parents has played out and how easily you accept or reject authority in your life. The 10th house is where we meet or defy expectations for our career, family, and achievements. This house is also related to notoriety and legacy.
The 10th house is allowing you to better understand the dynamics of power and control. At times we exert little control over what the world or others think of us. We can construct our identity but often the person we are trying to portray is clouded by the world’s view of us. The 10th house is giving you the opportunity to take ownership of your career, who you want to be, and what you want people to remember about you.

Black Moon Lilith in the 9th House – Heretic Saint
By Midara
If you have Lilith in the 9th house of your chart, her themes will manifest in terms of religion, philosophy, and education. Lilith is the means by which your world is expanded, for good or ill.
In traditional astrology, the 9th house is known as “The God” and is concerned with religion, spirituality, and overall worldview. With Lilith here, it is all too common for this experience to be dark and unjust. This can be in the form of spiritual or religious authority being used inappropriately in order to scapegoat or control you. It can also manifest in terms of direct abuse by members of the clergy as well as secular authorities such as mentors or professors. But, of course, there is more to it than that. Lilith in the 9th house tends to create a sense of wounding about beliefs in general. You may have been swallowed up by an all-encompassing belief system and had to fight to regain your individual freedom. You may also have been cast out and marginalized due to heretical beliefs, whether in a spiritual sense or in a more mundane group setting. One way or another, your beliefs failed to conform and you were wounded because of it.
The 9th house is also concerned with our personal narrative, how we tell our story. The way you conceive of yourself as an agent in the world is fundamentally colored by Lilith concerns. You see yourself as the scapegoat, the outcast, the underdog, the one who has had to fight and claw for their little bit of agency and freedom. Yours is a story of great struggle against forces that would seek to hold you back. You find your freedom by rejecting those forces entirely and striking out on your own.
The 9th house also rules that we consider matters of greatest importance. The 9th house blows our world wide open. With Lilith in the 9th, you are fundamentally concerned with issues of power, privilege, and inequality. Your world was thrown open when you realized just how much suffering, pain, and misuse of power there really is in the world. You may tend toward a worldview that emphasizes power struggles and class consciousness. This inherent feel for the way power and resources are divided in society will be a driving factor in everything you do.
While there is of course so much more to say, I’ll end with this. While the systems of power are so vast and the people who are elevated by power misuse it so wantonly, there is still hope. Your willingness to understand that misuse and the way it forms itself into a cohesive system is the first step to making change. Your ideas may be deemed silly or outside the norm, but that doesn’t mean they’re wrong. Continue the freedom fight, not only for yourself but for us all.

Here is a bit more about Black Moon Lilith:
For astrologers, Lilith is the apogee of the orbit of the Moon. It is also known as the lunar apogee.
Astronomical Definition of Black Moon Lilith, or The Lunar Apogee
The distance from the Moon to Earth varies constantly. In its elliptical revolution around the Earth, the Moon has a point closest to Earth (the perigee, at about 356,000 kilometers from Earth) and another point farthest from Earth (the apogee, at about 406,000 kilometers).
This perigee-apogee axis is not fixed but moves constantly at a rate of 40 degrees each year, that is, from 6 to 7 minutes of arc each day.
In other words, the perigee-apogee axis makes a complete revolution through the Zodiac in about 3232 days, or in about eight years and just over ten months.
The apogee end of this axis is Lilith (or the Black Moon).
Thus, Lilith is not a planet, but a point in space without a physical body. This is like the ascendant in a birth chart, which also doesn’t have a physical body but is mathematically calculated. However, these key points in space don’t need to have mass or a body to act on us.
Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn
Your test is related to your sense of responsibility and foresight. You may experience delays in finding or developing your career. If your Black Moon works well, you will have a sense of discipline and duty, so you will achieve prestige. However, you can also be too cold or demanding of others.
Black Moon Lilith symbolizes inhibition of some form without necessarily having to do with sex. In Capricorn, it leads to solitude and introversion and deepens the inner life even more.
As for sexuality, we find it diminished to the point of sublimating it or literally rejecting it. On rare occasions, the approach to the body is through auto-eroticism.
There can be forms of love with people of a very old age in which simple friendship prevails.
For your Black Moon in Capricorn to work well:
Reflect on your feelings and your ability to love and understand others. Don’t close yourself off. Learn to meet others halfway. Think about what your role in society is.
