As all regular readers of thetanster.com know (and if you aren’t regular readers then you are probably not reading this, so why even start this way? I’m doing it over.) Tanster recently posted a video of Elvis Costello doing a live mash-up of the Death of Magic Thinking and Watching the Detectives. The sound was so trippy it worked as one incredibly amazing song. One internet commenter compared it to Hendrix’s performance of the National Anthem at Woodstock. Clearly a fan.

Prince and Hendrix? That puts a lot of pressure on the guy.
If he is, in fact, channeling the spirit of Prince, then that would actually confirm Tanster’s own experience. A few years ago she communed with Prince in spirit form and he gave her some guitar lessons.
He didn’t zap her with a wand or anything. He gave her lessons. She’s still learning.
