If you aren’t a regularly reader of the Stone Cold Truth blog, I suggest you stop whatever you’re doing and get over there immediately. Roger Stone is basically teaching a masters class in how to do public relations right. The guy is a genius. Plus he has a tattoo of Tricky Dick Nixon on his back. That is some major commitment to a client. What’s more, Stone also has other high level publicists writing articles on his blog. Mostly they’re about how great Stone is. What else would you expect?
One such recent guest post was written by Tanster Project participant Frank Parlato of the famed Frank Report blog. A self-proclaimed NXIVM whistleblower, Parlato used to do publicity for the sex cult back in the day. Some might say him turning against his employer shows a lack of loyalty and discretion. I say that’s nonsense. You have to admire someone who can adapt to changes on the ground. That’s the Marine motto.
Nowadays Parlato mostly ensures the purity of his own NXIVM narrative. If someone says something disparaging about NXIVM that he didn’t authorize, watch out! For example, Ben Szemkus did a video talking about this recruitment party he had attended for NXIVM a few years ago. They were looking for young Ivy League college girls to bring into the cult. Surprise, surprise.
Tanster reported on this story and even arranged for Szemkus to take a lie detector test. Boy, Parlato did not like that. The doxing hatchet piece he ran on Tanster was truly superb, an example of just how a publicist can effectively eviscerate and discredit someone besmirching their client.
Which of course begs the question, who was his client? Which of the names that Szemkus mentioned as being at that party set him off? That’s obviously the person he is still working for. I’m guessing it was Stormy Daniels.
