Celebrity Photography Days

I photographed Art Garfunkel at a performance in Westhampton. Edie Brickell gave me a hard time and was practically hissing at me for operating my camera. She was standing in the back like I was. I’m pretty sensitive and I was sorry to irritate her so much by doing my job to the best of my ability. I found that my existence was supremely annoying to many while I was working as a photographer of the elite.

After feeling demoralized about the annoyingness of my existence amongst this crowd, Paris Hilton’s father of all people, Richard Hilton, said to me: “I get it. You’re just doing your job.” I did not expect empathy from that direction but there it was.

 ...

How did Art Garfunkel get such a high voice? I’ve been wondering about that. He looks really comely in his blue and white stripes. The triangles and Fibonacci swirls are cute too.

On the album cover above there are 8 triangles. Those triangles look a bit added on to me. The name Art Garfunkel just so happens to reduce to 8. Just yet another coincidence?

Who is their “bright star”?
