I’ve been thinking about designing a rainbow necklace for months.

Since I’m so ensconced in the story of Napoleon, I really do try to celebrate all aspects of this story. One of them is jewelry. Napoleon supported jewelry manufacture and he was a frequent giver of very lavish gifts. Talk of this frequently arises in the memoirs we have been reading about Napoleon.

These memoirs are available  here, here and here.

I love learning from experts who are passionate about their work. Please enjoy this video about medieval jewelry.

This is a watch Josephine gave her daughter Hortense.

These are the kind of gifts one could receive if Napoleon really liked you.

Excellence is a decision.

What first attracted me to the story of Napoleon was recognizing his ambition.

In my experience, we do have a higher self urging us towards our highest destiny and we really see that with Napoleon. My goal to turn the hero’s journey into an art project was really my attempt to emulate the ambition of Napoleon. This ambition was not for status or money but to fulfill one’s destiny in accordance with the Will of God.

Narcissistic family rules for children.

This video has a bit of rambling but children of narcissists are taught things that destroy their future lives.

Having grown up with narcissistic parents, I initially learned everything backwards. I eventually realized if I did the opposite of what my parents would do that I’d be very wise to do so.

I summarized the video below by writing the following:

Narcissistic family rules for children.

  1. Uphold perfect family image.
  2. Keep secrets.
  3. Children must act like adults.
  4. Children are expected to act as slaves.
  5. Children get mixed messages.
  6. It’s safer to stay distant.
  7. The child is not allowed to feel feelings.
  8. Let the parents invade boundaries.
  9. Be hyper vigilant.
  10. Be perfect.
  11. Making mistakes means the child is unlovable.

It is one of our goals here to help deprogram victims of narcissistic abuse - which in this “culture” is pretty much everyone.

Memoirs of Napoleon’s Stepdaughter Hortense, Pages 270-280.

Duroc, who had once proposed to Hortense, tells her she and Tzar Alexander of Russia would fall in love with each other should they ever meet.

We last finished reading: With Napoleon in Russia and the memoirs of Napoleon’s Valet Marchand from their time together all over Europe and at St. Helena.

Now I’m reading the Memoirs of Hortense Bonaparte.

The beginning of the Memoirs we are currently reading can be found here.

All three writers of these memoirs are considered exceptionally honest. All three essentially lived with Napoleon. Then I plan to read a selection of Napoleon’s letters to ladies. You will see that Napoleon is the same person in all of these accounts. I’m doing this because I believe this is important and that our whole present world-in-crisis comes out of this True story.
