We all know Capitalism is a horrible economic system. The whole thing is driven by our hard earned money being worthless and less over time. No point in saving then, though that does make weathering the periodic recessions we suffer through even harder. The only way to break even is investments. The problem is, there are a lot of losers in investments, not to mention that the stock markets are rigged.
The Winners in Capitalism are those who own the means of Production. We, the People, are, ultimately, the means of Production. They, the Capitalists, own us.
There is one bright spot with our modern accumulation of wealth system; the People have been able to insist on some legal due process. It’s not perfect, but at least it’s something.
That’s it though. Otherwise, they own our Labor.
A little harsh? While our money becomes worth less and less, the Capitalists’ debt loses value. Inflation drives this economy. We the People lose with inflation. They win.
Their paid puppet economists tell us that inflation is healthy. Sure, for them. Having our salaries effectively decrease while we are doing the same amount of work is hardly good for us.
Now don’t think I’m recommending Communism. People living under those economic models generally don’t even get the same due process that we do.
No, what we need is a new system. One that isn’t built on greed and the rich getting richer. Oh, the rich don’t like that? Who cares. This is a government of the People, by the People and for the People. It’s time we start asserting ourselves.
