Napoleon was hoping that he and Marie Louise could stay on friendly terms with Josephine but that was not possible.
Much is made of Marie Louise’s extreme passivity in the memoirs but she refused to join her husband when it looked like he wouldn’t come out the winner in 1814. She also refused to be pleasant with Josephine who really did sacrifice herself for what seemed like the well-being of France. On the other hand, Marie Louise was compliant about leaving her son in the hands of people who were likely dangerous to him when she went off with her new lover to the land she received in return for her obedience.
Why was Marie Louise even asked to leave her son? People can argue about whether her son was killed but no one can argue about the situations that were forced on Marie Louise - who had no means of being self sufficient in the manner to which she was accustomed. The memoirs really fill in the portraits of who these people really were.

Early on in their mariage, Napoleon asked Marie Louise what she was told to do in regards to him and the answer was to “obey” him. Clearly there was a caveat to that order. She was to obey him as long as he continued to win battles. That’s the marriage she was compelled to undertake - to a man that she was raised to revile.
Here below Josephine writes to her son about Marie Louise for the first time.

Malmaison, November 19th, 1810.
I delayed writing to you, my dear Eugène.
I was waiting for a certain opportunity and I am taking advantage today of the departure of the Treasurer of the Crown of Italy to give you some details about my position. You know about the letter I wrote to the Emperor; I sent you a copy. I received his reply when I returned from Sécheron. He leaves me completely free on the choice of where I shall live. He says that Navarre and Milan are the most suitable places.
It is in Milan that I would have given the preference. You know how much I wanted to spend a few months with you, but you cannot imagine all the rumors that have been spread about this. It has been claimed that I was ordered to go to Italy and that I would not be able to come back to France anymore. The anxiety had spread to the people of my house. All feared a trip that would never end.
I was therefore obliged to give up what would have been the sweetest excursion so as not to leave France, at least not this year.
It seems that the Empress Marie Louise will not acknowledge me and she has no desire to see me. In this we are perfectly in agreement and I would have consented to see her only if it would please the Emperor. It would even appear that she has for me more than just coldness, and I do not see the reason for it, because she only knows me by the great sacrifice that I made for him. Like her, I want the the Emperor to be happy, and this feeling should bring her closer to me. But none of this will affect my behavior.
I have drawn the line that I must follow and I will not depart from it. It is to live far from everything in retirement, but with dignity and to ask for nothing but peace.
The arts and botany will be my occupations. This summer, I will go to the waters, and, to be near you, I have just bought a pretty great place on the shores of Lake Geneva and for the price of 165,000 francs. I will spend this winter in Navarre where I will go this week. The few days that I remained at Malmaison were necessary for me to rest after my journey from Switzerland. I saw few people there. People who at other times seemed very attached to me did not give me any indication that I still exist to them. I forgive them heartily. I only remember those who have not forgotten me and I do not think of others. I shall, I hope, find happiness around me in the tenderness of my children, for I am sure that my dear Eugène will always love me as I love him. Farewell, my dear son, I embrace Auguste and my granddaughters, and I love you dearly.

How close was Napoleon to victory at Waterloo?
Napoleon was close to winning Waterloo, then a fresh army arrived. On St. Helena, Napoleon admitted that there was no way he could’ve reigned all that long in the midst of the European autocrats who controlled that turf. The story of Napoleon is fascinating because we can see what would happen if that class of rulers were challenged. What would they do? Through listening to one memoir after another, a person can learn all the methods through which the sovereignty of the people is systematically destroyed.

Since Jupiter is in Aquarius, let’s look at that.
The goal here is to decode my natal chart and to see if there is any truth to Astrology. Jupiter is at the top of my chart making a lot of tense aspects with Mars, Uranus. Jupiter is making some harmonious aspects with Neptune and Pluto. I think the tension is there to drive the journey towards what is promised by the harmony with Neptune and Pluto. Neptune is spirit and Pluto is deep transformation. The whole chart seems to be flowing to that Saturn retrograde in Cancer (home, origins) in the 3rd house (communication).
Information above in this post says the yod operates in such a way that the current Pluto Saturn conjunction is exactly what would activate that yod configuration. The red dots on top are where Saturn and Pluto are transiting the supposed activation area of my yod. I put a red dot near Saturn, at the bottom of the chart, to show the point of focus of the yod.
Last August something that looked to me like gang stalkers trying to intimate me were around my house two nights in a row and a bamboo was broken against my door. It seemed some group wanted to “send me a message”. Ever since then, my intuition tells me I’m in another of my death/birth phases. I’m turning into someone else right now.

Hortense’s husband disappears but he declares in the Newspaper that he hates Napoleon.
Both Napoleon and Josephine pushed Hortense into marrying Louis Bonaparte for their own reasons. By 1810, both Napoleon and Hortense are extricated from their marriages and Louis is on the run.
In the letter below, Josephine shows herself in despair and extremely preoccupied with the negative turn of circumstances. Although I empathize with Josephine’s unhappiness, these letters make her sound like a person with Borderline Personality Disorder of the waif variety.
Dear Eugène,
Aix, the 20 of July, 1810,
M. de la Bedoyere has come to take my commissions for you, my dear Eugene. He is very happy to join you, while I have been so far from you finally seeing you brought me a single moment of happiness. It was very sweet for me since it was a diversion to all my sorrows. I have not had another letter from the Queen (Hortense) since the 16th. I am waiting for her these days in Aix, where she will come to take the waters.
We still don’t know what’s going on with the King (Hortense’s husband Louis). It is presumed that he has slipped away to the Dutch colonies. We talk a lot about this disappearance in Paris.
The Emperor must be very unhappy. It is said that the King's proclamation was arranged in the Moniteur. He complained much of his brother and even uttered the word hatred. If I learn something more definitive, I'll tell you. I can not help but be worried about his fate. I hope your little girls are healthy. Give me their news, Auguste’s and yours. I kiss you all tenderly.

My natal Venus is in a place of foreign culture. I’m seeing this say that my art is about education and broadening horizons in a spiritual kind of discipline (Capricorn/Sagittarius). It’s not just about beauty. It’s a search for truth. Venus is trine Mars. Venus is working with Mars. The chart is a battlefield. A main player in this contest is Saturn. The yod is pointing to Saturn while at this time Saturn and Pluto align near this natal Venus. The amazing tension relating to Venus may refer to this art project.
Someone who struck me as clearly a subversion agent asked me last year what I’m after. I replied I’m after the fulfillment of my mission. I feel this natal chart is reflecting these circumstances.
