Narcissism strikes me as more of a spiritual affliction than a psychological one. The ones really committed to the phenomenon that I’ve known felt vampirish and when I finally ran from them there was much chasing until finally they gave up. I genuinely wish redemption to them all. I had to cut my losses because “helping” them was really just making them even worse - and it was destroying me also. It is terrible for all concerned, this condition which afflicts humanity. Each of us must choose - up or down - right or wrong - truth or lies.
