This Series is about exposing the Truth concerning Napoleon. We are looking for the congruent story across different Napoleon Memoirs. The Napoleon story overview is here.

The beginning of the Memoir we are currently reading can be found here.

The Caulaincourt Memoir is here.

The Marchand Memoir is here.

The Hortense Bonaparte Memoir is here.

All writers of these memoirs are considered exceptionally honest. All were very dear to Napoleon. You will see that Napoleon is the same person in all of these accounts. This is important and our whole present world-in-crisis comes out of this True story.

To corroborate our narrative from the perspective of our opponents, I offer the reader Tolstoy’s War and Peace here.

The general outlook here

A self professed psychopath identifies a person like Napoleon as a source of dread.

Basically psychopaths use bribes and threats, carrots and sticks to get away with their behavior. When they can’t manipulate someone - they don’t like it.  The courage of others is their kryptonite and courage requires some sort of Faith.

Two quotes that I like from Napoleon:

”To die is nothing but to live defeated and without glory is to die every day.”

”No one has power over someone who dies without regrets.”

Even when Napoleon was trapped on St. Helena he never gave in and told his oppressors that though they may have possessed his body, they would never have his soul. This is part of why he is a source of inspiration.
