This was Eugénie “Desirée” Clary.
She was Napoleon’s first fiancée. She had been engaged to Napoleon’s brother Joseph before she became engaged to Napoleon. Napoleon fell sincerely madly in love with an older woman named Marie Josèphe Rose (Josephine) who was a courtesan to a ruler of France named Paul Barras. I do not know how Napoleon broke off his engagement to Desirée but she ended up becoming his sister-in-law.
This image below gives you a decent idea of the appearance of Josephine. Though Napoleon was madly in love with Josephine (initially), she married him for security and said so in a letter to a friend. Josephine also flagrantly cheated on Napoleon since day one.
It is my personal belief - and I intend to show you all why I believe this - that the woman Napoleon was really most attached to was Josephine’s daughter, Hortense.
This was Hortense. Time will tell if I am capable of proving my theory. I have been developing and working to substantiate this theory since the mid 90s.
This is not historically accurate but it is Marlon Brando playing Napoleon.
I never watched this before because I assumed it would be fake and irritating and unfair to the Emperor. Now that I have watched it, I was not mistaken. It created the impression of complex character analysis but it was the typical narrative that portrays Napoleon as a selfish jerk. I suspect that Narcissism has been deliberately programmed into the masses.
Why?
Because it’s a mental trap. A narcissist is really an insecure person who cannot admit they are insecure and flawed. Since they are never wrong or mistaken there is no way to educate them about anything.
How is this done? By media pushing (perhaps mind controlled secretly transgendered) celebrities as “gods” is a start. Suggesting that success is happiness is another. Pushing materialism as a show of superiority also feeds this beast.
Since I have been attempting to spread Truth, I’ve become extremely familiar with the various types of mostly narcissistic “truth seekers”. If you see yourself in the descriptions below, it’s not to hurt you - it’s because the Truth will set you free.
