My first major work about Napoleon dealt with his exile on St. Helena. He knew the victors would trash his name and obscure his courage and the good he had done. He was a Right. You can’t believe the narrative of the victors of a war. Napoleon knew this to be a fact in the early 1800s. Why? Because he was a big student of “history”.

These incongruent narratives are so incongruent that these matters have been argued about in court many times. The mainstream media must have forgotten to report about these incongruent matters facing litigation which is why these matters may be surprising to some. You probably did see the propaganda about these matters in movie theaters. You also probably saw the propaganda win lots and lots and lots and lots of Oscars.
